Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Confirmed in Cleveland County
LITTLE ROCK, AR –The Arkansas Department of Agriculture (Department) has confirmed a case of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) on a commercial poultry farm in Cleveland County. Following an investigation by the Department in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, testing confirmed the presence of HPAI in poultry from the affected farm. The farm is under quarantine, and the Department is working to implement response and containment measures in accordance with established protocols.
