- All pesticide license numbers are permanently assigned.
- Dealers must verify the purchaser’s license is active before distributing Restricted Use Pesticides (RUP).
Restricted Use Pesticide Dealer License
Who Needs This License?
Any person or business distributing products classified as Class E, F, or H or restricted-use pesticides in Arkansas must obtain a Restricted Use Pesticide Dealer License.
Additional Notes:
- Dealers with multiple Arkansas locations must submit a separate application for each location.
- Out-of-state dealers:
- May obtain one license for their principal location distributing into Arkansas.
- Must submit a Power of Attorney (POA) form designating an in-state agent for service of process.
- POA is only required again if it has changed from the previous year.
How to Apply- New Applicant
Step 1: Complete the Online Application

- DO NOT SUBMIT PAYMENT AT THIS TIME! An invoice for payment will be emailed to you once the application has been processed.
Step 2: Pay the License Fee
- Once payment for the invoice has been received, please allow 48 hours for your payment to process.
- You may view and print your license using the License Search & Verification tool.
Step 3: Upload POA (If Applicable)
- Include the Power of Attorney form during submission, if required.
How to Apply- Renewal Applicant
Step 1: A renewal application will be emailed/mailed 30 days prior to the expiration of your license.
- Validate license information.
- Email the completed renewal application to [email protected]
- For online payment, DO NOT SUBMIT PAYMENT AT THIS TIME! An invoice to pay will be emailed to you once the application has been processed.
- To pay by check, mail the application along with $65.00 fee.
Step 2: Pay the License Fee:
- Once payment for the invoice has been received, please allow 48 hours for your payment to process.
- You may view and print your license using the License Search & Verification tool.
Bulk Dealer Permit
Who Needs This Permit?
A Bulk Dealer Permit is required for any pesticide dealer who:
- Acts as a Producer Establishment, and
- Dispenses bulk pesticides into smaller containers for distribution.
Note: A separate permit is required for each pesticide manufacturer whose products you dispense.
How to Apply
Step 1: Complete the Online Application
- DP-42 – Bulk Dealer Permit Form
Step 2: Submit for Each Manufacturer
- A new application is required for each manufacturer the dealer dispenses product for. There is no fee for a Bulk Dealer Permit.
A permit will be emailed or mailed once your application is processed. You can also view and print your permit online using the License Search & Verification tool.
