Join AGFC Private Lands Habitat staff as we discuss the importance of prescribed fire. Upon completion, participants will be a Qualified Prescribed Burner according to Act 695 and meet the requirements for civil liability protections.

Event Description
This workshop is to certify landowners as Qualified Prescribed Burners per ACT 695. This is a 2-day course. Weather permitting, day 1 will be a classroom day where we cover topics such as fire ecology, fire weather, firing techniques, fire tools, etc. Day 2 will be a test covering the material from day 1 followed by an outdoor live fire demonstration. Participation is required so dress accordingly.
