Arkansas Water Plan Stakeholder,
The Arkansas Department of Agriculture (Department) completed Phase I of the Arkansas Water Plan (AWP) update in 2024. This effort was completed through assistance from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Michael Baker International. The Department has actively engaged stakeholders through Phase II of the update by conducting surveys, presentations, and meetings. In addition, sector specific (i.e., water supply, infrastructure, etc.) focus group meetings were conducted.
Progress through Phase II has advanced and additional information sharing and stakeholder input is needed specifically for water and wastewater infrastructure analysis, water quality trends, and water supply and demand trend analysis.
Facilitated virtual meetings will be held on February 24 and 25 to present information. Please find information below to join those meetings.
The virtual meetings will be recorded and posted to the Department’s website. Current information on the water plan update can also be found there.
