The EPA issued a National Fuel Waiver on August 20, 2026. This waiver continued the prior waiver provisions pertaining to the sale of 9-15% ethanol, and also permits the distribution and sale of winter gasoline beginning September 1.
The Arkansas Department of Agriculture recognizes the provisions of the U.S. EPA waiver “Re: National Fuel Waiver to Bring Forward Wintertime Gasoline Beginning September 1, 2026” as applicable in the state of Arkansas including the distribution and sale of winter gasoline in Arkansas beginning September 1, 2026.
