The Arkansas Department of Agriculture (Department) has received a Liquid Animal Waste Management System permit application for a major modification for Delta Dairy, LLC, permit no. 4979-W-1. A copy of the permit application can be viewed here. The facility is requesting an increase from 1,500 head of dairy cattle to 2,000 head. The application also modifies the area of land application. Upon completion of the Department’s review of the permittee’s application materials, a draft permit decision will public noticed and a thirty (30) day public comment period will begin at that time.
