Notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Department of Agriculture is amending the Arkansas Feed Rules, 2 CAR Pt. 25. Act 586 of 2025 Amended the Arkansas Feed Law of 1997, codified at Arkansas Code § 2-37-101 et seq, and amendments to 2 CAR Pt. 25 are made to incorporate the legislative changes, including designating the Department as the enforcement agency, amending inspection fees, adding exempted facility fees, and amending process to calculate and invoice applicants for inspection and reports costs. Additional amendments are made to update names, references, and terminology, reflect changes in animal food labeling, expand requirements for weight, volume, and quantity statements, and add requirements for the safe labeling and display of raw milk as animal feed.
