Arkansas Beef Council Announces Arkansas’s Best Burger Contest Finalists

LITTLE ROCK, AR — The Arkansas Beef Council is excited to announce the top five finalists of the 2nd Annual Arkansas’s Best Burger Contest, a statewide competition celebrating 100% beef burgers prepared by Arkansas restaurants.

Nominations were open from April 1 to 30, and the burgers that received the most nominations from each of the state’s five regions were selected as finalists. The winning burger will be announced by May 31.

“We are thrilled to announce the top five finalists in the 2025 Arkansas’s Best Burger Contest,” said Beef Council Chairman Caleb Plyer. “With more than 2,100 nominations submitted from across the state, the competition highlights the passion and pride Arkansans have for their local burger joints and the quality beef they serve.”

The five regional finalists are:

  • Region 1: Cheeseburger – The Ozark Farmhouse (Food Truck), Clinton, AR 72031
  • Region 2: Big Daddy Burger Johnson’s Country Cookin’, 811 Main St., Melbourne, AR 72556
  • Region 3: PicklebackE&R Bar and Grill, 320 W Main St., El Dorado, AR 71730
  • Region 4: Bubba BurgerMomma’s Diner, 3015 W 28th Ave., Pine Bluff, AR 71603
  • Region 5: Sweet Hot BurgerCopper Grill, 300 E 3rd St., Little Rock, AR 72201

The mission of the Arkansas Beef Council is to coordinate and implement a program of promotion, research, and market development to enhance the image of beef and improve the potential of Arkansas’s cattle industry.
